| My name is Walter Carzon, and I was born in Argentina in 1965 (www.waltercarzon.blogspot.com). I have a vast experience on illustrating comics and children’s books with licensed characters for international corporations such as Warner Bros., Disney Worldwide Publishing, Scholastic Inc., among many others. In 1992, Warner Bros. Publishing granted me the exclusivity of drawing “Pinky and The Brain” comics for DC Comics. Also, I have drawn for Marvel - Disney several comics of The Little Mermaid, Duck Tales, Tale Spin and Goofy Troop. I formed the international art studio “Duendes del Sur”, becoming the Art Director of editorial and license projects. In Duendes del Sur Studio (www.duendesdelsur.com), I was part of the specialized team assigned the license characters official correction by Warner Bros. for its LA Publishing Department. The American Bible Society and Scholastic Inc, asked me to create a new art for the "Read and Learn Bible". In 2004 I was chosen by Disney Paris, together with other 8 artist from all the world to take part in a seminar on how to draw Disney's princesses. I'm currently creating my own projects developing children’s books. At the moment continuous drawing comics for DC of Looney Tunes and working like Art Director in some pre-productions for Cavin Cooper Productions. |
